This richly illustrated catalog describes the work of Wroclaw artist Wanda Gołkowska. It contains the texts of the artist and selected fragments by other authors from the years 1975-2001. Wanda Gołkowska was one of the most interesting personalities of the post-war Polish artistic community. She was a painter, drawer, animator of artistic life and initiator of exhibitions and happenings. In the years 1946-1951 she studied painting at the Academy of Arts and Design in Wroclaw, she gained her diploma in Eugeniusz Geppert’s studio. She was a co-founder and an active member of Poszukiwania Formy i Koloru and Grupa Wrocławska artistic groups. Throughout her creative career, she remained closely associated with the Wroclaw Pod Moną Lizą gallery, managed by Jerzy Ludwiński. The book is in Polish and contains fragments of texts translated into English and German.
