Our humanist and progressive culture provides many lofty and universal ideas, such as love of neighbour, hospitality, tolerance, human rights. But are they really universal? One has to look at them through the eyes of strangers and others to see that the bright side of humanism has its dark reverse. It can be called variously: barbarism, colonialism, imperialism, fascism, racism, nihilism. For equality is a project, discrimination a fact. Will posthumanism change this situation?
