A Slovenian architect Joze Plecnik was an outstanding person, who developed artistically in the company of such functionalist theorists and masters of international style as Le Corbusier and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe or organic architecture, such as Frank Lloyd Wright and Alvar Aalto. But it was only in the 1980s and 90s when the work of Joze Plecnik became a real discovery for Europe and the whole world. The author of the book thoroughly analyzes the successive stages of Plecnik’s creative path development and presents the artist’s achievements.
