The book accompanies the exhibition titled Wojciech Kaniowski. Objects, presented in the Museum of Architecture in Wroclaw from 16th of March till 7th of May, 2017.
The book summarizes 40 years of artistic, organisational and didactic activity of Wojcieh Kaniowski, the painter and graphic artist, professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw.
Piotr Wieczorek, President of the Wroclaw Section of the Union of Polish Artists and Designers: - Wojciech Kaniowski is one of those incurable artists, who still believe in the indestructible sense of creative work. Moreover, they still see and feel the joy, which accompanies the imagination close-coupled with manual work. His pieces of art are paintings, created with objects and colours, which fell from the world machine. This art can be received as a serious idea and attempt of giving new meaning to the things, which were left over the time. It is also a test of the recipient’s imagination.
