The catalog presents the work of brothers Lubomír and Čestmír Slapeta - avant-garde architects, students of the Wrocław Academy of Arts and Crafts. The book shows a hitherto little-known aspect of Czech and Wroclaw artistic connections. The architectural work of both brothers was discussed in relation to their cooperation with Hans Scharoun, one of the most prominent German architects of the twentieth century. The catalog contains unpublished correspondence between Scharoun and his former students, enriched with plenty of archival photographs, drawings and architectural plans.
