POW. The illustrated atlas of Powiśle architecture” contains 60 more or less famous buildings, architectural layouts, sculptures and decorative details located at the foot of the Vistula escarpment, from the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge to the Łazienkowska Route.
In POW you will find big-city tenements and urban villas, bridges, schools and the seats of important institutions, mosaics and (flat)sculptures, buildings by the Kuryłowicz family, Szyller, Gutt and many other architects, selected by Prof. Malgorzata Omilanowska and Katarzyna Uchowicz.
Each object is illustrated and described in Polish and English. The presentation is preceded by a bilingual introduction outlining the history of the district.
