The seminar and the exhibition opening – Thursday, 28 January 2016 at 5.00 p.m.

Europan is an international architectural competition, which involves professionals up to 40 in search of avant-garde solutions, innovative ideas and possibilities of building a modern European city.

Since 1990, 13 editions have been held. The competition takes place simultaneously in several countries (including Austria, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy). Poland has participated in the last five editions as well, so far represented only by Warsaw.

We would like to invite you to an exhibition organized by the City of Warsaw in the Museum of Architecture in Wroclaw, presenting all the awarded Polish works as well as selected European works.

The seminar and the exhibition opening will take place on 28 January 2016 at 5.00 p.m. - Pia Spiesberger and Bernd Vlay (Europan Austria) will talk about their experiences in creating works for the competition. Tomasz Zemła (project manager of Europan Poland, deputy director of the Office of Architecture and Spatial Planning of the City of Warsaw) will summarize Polish editions of Europan.
