Digitization and sharing of the Museum of Architecture collections

from 30 November 2019

Thanks to the financial support of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, in 2019, as part of the project to digitise the collections, the Museum of Architecture began to make its resources available. In the first stage, the collections on 20th century architecture were selected for presentation, including architectural projects, models and archival materials (photographic and text) related to the work of outstanding Polish architects. At least 1,000 objects will be made available in 2019, and another 4,000 in 2020. The sharing of the collections will continue after the project is completed and will ultimately cover the entire Museum collection.

You can find the collection search engine in the main MENU, in the Collection tab.

The search works on a web browser principle. While typing in the subject you are looking for, hints will appear which may help you to search for a given object, person or town. Until the end of 2019 the search engine is of a test character, so we will be grateful for reporting all irregularities in its operation.

Budynki powstają w wyniku interakcji pomiędzy inwestorami, specjalistami do spraw kosztów, konsultantami rynku nieruchomości i innymi “ekspertami”.

The human dimension of architecture

Current exhibitions

I AM NOT HERE The human dimension of architecture’ is a story about the social role of an architect, about Wroclaw, about the vicissitudes of a certain generation and about loyalty to deeply rooted beliefs. We have always believed that architecture makes sense when the design was created and the designed space is teeming with life even though us architects are no longer there.
